It's a crazy world

Did you see the other week (I'm know I'm behind, but hey, I'm busy!!) that prisoners might be given the opportunity to vote in general election!

I can see it now..... "Vote Lib Dem, for shorter jail sentences!!!"

As I'm sat at my laptop, there was a news story on Radio4 that a woman has been charged under anti-terrorism laws for ..... walking in a cycle lane!!

Is it just me, or are you automatically arrested under anti terror laws these days, before they decide / make up, what they are going to charge you with.

Heckle Jack Straw.... you're a terrorist, run to get on your airplane... you're a terrorist.

If I don't post in the next 90 days, you know I'm being held under the new strict anti-terror laws, without being charged!

One-up-manship

I don't know if you remember, but John Major once boasted how much he could drink

William Vague claimed that as a young lad me used to deliver beer and drink large amounts of "strong" beer

Iain "drunken" smith also claimed he could hold his ale

So in a spirit on one-up-manship, now you need to have done hard drugs before you lead the conservative party!

I can see their new logo "hard on crime; hard on immigration, on hard drugs"... so something like that!

Thanks!

Have you ever noticed there is a lot of contradiction in politics?

Ministry of Defense.....

Ministry or Transport....

George Galloways Respect party……..

Everyone loves a spectacle, Boris Johnson spluttering his way through some ill conceived idea is a joy to behold! The same holds true for Gorgeous George. It’s like being back at school (trust me, I know!!). Cheap insults and using long words, makes up for any real social comment. When George said that the one of the Senators in Americas House of Congress was “gin ridden”, you knew he wanted to say “and you smell like a baboon”!

And when he praised Saddam Hussein with the now famous “Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability." Despite the fact that Saddam was killing thousands of fellow Iraqis. But when we go over to Iraq to kill thousands of Iraqis, somehow, we’re in the wrong!!??!!

Disagree with the great man however, and be prepared for a torrent of cheap (yet eloquent) insults, and you’ll be accused of being part of the “Zionist” plot to run the world. I don’t even own a zion, and my plan to rule the world doesn’t involve a zion, I don’t even have a Psion Organiser!

So, George, if you’re reading this (and I know you are!!), then sponsor us a tenner mate, and help save some lives. I promise the £10 that you donate will not be spent on any Zionists!

I was struck today by how much Cherie Blair (nee Booth) and Sharon Osbourne look alike, a quote from Cherie yesterday used all the same expressions you'd expect from Sharon... "Darling, that is a long way in the future" and other similar expressions.

Are Cherie and Sharon the same person, have they ever been photographed together... the public demands to know!!

I've been in contact with a chap called Alex Tew, who does a thing called the million dollar home page dot com. I asked if I could have some free space on his home page, he said no, but that if it took off, he would donate some money. I've been ckecking it since (he asked me to email back in 2 weeks, so I've still got a week to go).

His site seems to be gaining in popularity very rapidly, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll come good with his promise!

Congradulations to the English Cricket Team, beating the Australian Cricket Team (or Shane Warne as he's known)!!! I'm sure the whole country (with the exception of my father) is delighted.

We've beaten the Auzzies at rugby & cricket now, it's a shame their not a big footballing nation... well probably not as the overpaid premadonnas we have would lose to a bunch of U12's!!!

Whey! Got my first money through (not from ebay obviously), from now on, it's all downhill

I feel I've overdone it on the "training" this weekend, boy do I feel stiff, but I suppose thats a good thing; no pain.... no gain!

We're off on holiday today, so I doubt I'll post again this week.

Thanks for looking, and don't forget to sponsor me.....
